📢 Important update for RI sellers and buyers!

Starting October 1, 2025, Rhode Island will increase the real estate conveyance tax from $2.30 to $3.75 per $500 of property value.
✅This means sellers will see higher closing costs.
✅For buyers, it’s good to keep this in mind when budgeting for a fall purchase.
✅ If you’re considering selling, it may be worth exploring your timing before this change takes effect.
As always, I’m here to help guide you through how this impacts your bottom line and strategy🏡💼.Â
